Fall Transitional Style: The Casual Edition

Whenever the mornings start to become more crisp (even just slightly..) I feel a renewed sense of energy. The problem comes mid afternoon when the heat has set in and the outfit I thought would work all day has me over heated! Below is my solution for a casual fall transitional outfit. It's an easy look that will keep you warm in the morning and cool in the afternoon.

I'm a big fan of breaking the "fashion rules." One of my favorites to break? Not wearing white after Labor Day... White is such a great versatile color I wear it all through the year. As the weather changes to winter, change your whites from crisp and light fabrics to heavier fabrics with a tone underneath (a warm or cool tone is fine, just start to move away from a true white).

Throwing a button down on with your white jeans is the best way to move your look towards fall. In the morning you can keep your sleeves long and as you warm up, roll up those sleeves. It's the perfect early fall casual outfit!
