Travel Outfit

This is my last post about packing and travel... at least for now! Now that you know what to pack and how to pack it, what are you going to wear when traveling?! Well, here are my tips with some inspiration photos for ya to check out.

Whether you're riding in a car, train, bus or plane for a few (or many) hours, wear pants. Shorts will leave your legs exposed to stick to the seat or be scratched by cheap seat fabrics. The same goes for skirts and dresses. A maxi dress or skirt is adorable but not when you have to run through a terminal to make your connection!

Throw on a few extra layers for two reasons. One you never know what the temperature will be like in the plane/train/bus. Two, by wearing a few layers you are saving space in your luggage.

I recommend wearing a scarf when traveling because it has many purposes. The scarf can act as a blanket or cover your head from rain, etc. If you get too warm, a scarf is easy to fold up and throw in your purse without adding much weight.

Finally, wear some easy slip on shoes when traveling. You'll probably want your feet covered when entering public bathrooms along your travels. If you do need to run to catch any connections, you will be so grateful to be wearing these instead of sandals.
