Packing Tips: Part Two: How to Pack

Now that you know what to pack (see last week's post) it's time to figure out how to pack it! While you may try to be taking the smallest bag possible, be sure to leave some room for any purchases while you're traveling. There are lots of easy ways to make the most of the space in your suitcase without crushing your clothes. Read on below for a few tips.

You've probably heard this one before: roll your clothes. But seriously, roll your clothes. It not only makes a big difference in terms of space, but it will keep your clothes from getting too wrinkled. Pack socks, belts or chargers in shoes to save room too.

For any silk or delicate garments add a layer of tissue paper not only to protect them but to keep them wrinkle free.

Last week I recommended that you bring extra bags to help keep things organized and clean. Now that you have all those bags: pack them inside one another. Pack bags inside of extra purses also to keep saving space.

My last tip is essential: check the weather! Be sure to check what type of weather you will be in and really think about weather 65 feels warm or cool to you.
