Natasha Bowdoin's site specific installation "Bloom" at the SCAD Museum of Art showcases vibrant colors and patterns throughout. Similarly to "Bloom," the fashion designs of Etro mix and flow colors and patterns without overwhelming the viewer. Bowdoin's work has obvious connections to nature and pattern but she also uses literature with an emphasis on the natural world to inform her art. This exhibition is Bowdoin's first Southeastern solo museum exhibit and it is beautiful. Click on the images to be redirected for more information on "Bloom" or Etro.
